How Speedway separates fee buckets
Speedway separates merchant commission, software access, customer platform fees, delivery or trip distance fees, marketing budgets, payment costs, taxes and pass-through reimbursements. This helps keep settlements clearer for businesses, customers, crews and drivers.
- Merchant commission and software fees are business-side charges and do not automatically form part of crew or driver earnings.
- Crews and drivers are paid from eligible delivery, trip or labour fee buckets only, according to the applicable agreement and service rules.
- Platform, booking, handling, loading, marketing, payment, tax and pass-through items may be tracked as separate buckets.
Marketplace sales and app access
Every eligible marketplace sale carries a category sales commission: 11% for food and services, and 2.5% for non-food products including hardware. App access is separate. Merchants choose either pay-as-you-go percentage pricing or prepaid monthly pricing for each applicable seat, user, login or display.
| App | Monthly prepaid | Pay as you go | Monthly sales crossover |
|---|
| POS | Rp599,000 / month | 2% | Rp29,950,000 |
The configured restaurant software stack is 4.9% pay as you go or Rp1,295,000 prepaid monthly for base capacity. Marketplace commission remains additional under both choices. Free apps include one seat, user or login; extra capacity is charged separately once dual pricing is configured.
Customer-facing fee buckets
| Fee bucket | Usually paid by | Indicative amount | Crew/driver share |

| Platform fee | Customer | Configured separately by service and shown before confirmation | 0% |
| Booking / service fee | Customer | Configured separately where applicable | 0% |
| Delivery distance fee | Customer or merchant, depending on promotion | Quoted from the active delivery pricing rule | 90% |
| Ride-hail distance fare | Customer | Quoted from the active ride pricing rule | 90%, or compliance-adjusted where required |
| Small basket fee | Customer | Configured by basket threshold | 0% |
| Priority / express fee | Customer | Configured by priority service rule | May be shared if tied to crew/driver SLA |
| Waiting fee | Customer | Configured by waiting-time rule | Mostly crew/driver |
| Cancellation fee | Customer or merchant | Configured by cancellation stage | Partial after dispatch |
Crew and driver payout principle
Crews and drivers receive eligible payouts from the delivery, trip or assigned labour fee bucket only. They do not automatically receive a percentage of merchant commission, restaurant software fees, platform fees, booking fees, standard handling fees, loading fees, sponsored marketing, taxes or pass-through charges.
| Service | Indicative distance rate | Minimum | Crew/driver gets | Speedway keeps |
|---|
| Food delivery | Rp8,500/km | 3 km | 90% | 10% |
| Ride-hail | Rp4,500/km | 3 km | 90% or compliance-adjusted | 10% or compliance-adjusted |
Distance rates and payout shares are planning figures only and may change by city, vehicle type, time, service category, promotion, regulation, insurance requirement, fleet agreement or crew/driver agreement.
Separate and pass-through items
The following items are normally outside the merchant package percentage and may be charged, passed through, reimbursed, waived, withheld or budgeted separately depending on the agreement and applicable law.
- Payment processing, QRIS, card or wallet fees.
- Taxes, levies and government charges.
- Hardware rental, deposits, replacement or managed device costs.
- Setup, onboarding, training or managed launch support where applicable.
- Tolls, parking, ferry, special access, redelivery or other pass-through reimbursements.
- Bulky item, loading, labour or handling charges where required by the order.
Example restaurant settlement
For a Rp100,000 food order using the complete restaurant stack under pay as you go, the database-driven marketplace plus app-access rate is 15.9%, or Rp15,900. Merchant settlement starts from Rp84,100 before payment processing, tax, delivery, refunds, promotions, marketing and other separate charges.
