Speedway Global commercial guide

Settlements & payouts

This page explains how Speedway Global separates money buckets, calculates merchant settlements, pays crews and handles timing, verification, refunds, disputes and fraud protection. It is a public working guide; final settlement rules may vary by city, market segment, payment method, regulation, merchant agreement or operator agreement.

Settlement principles

Speedway separates each order into clear buckets before any merchant settlement or operator payout is calculated. This keeps the statement readable and prevents delivery, platform, software, tax, marketing and reimbursement items from being mixed together.

Indicative settlement and payout timing

Refund / dispute adjustmentApproved refund, chargeback, duplicate payment or dispute resolutionApplied to current or future settlementAdjustments may be visible as separate statement lines.

Settlement timing is not a guarantee. Weekends, public holidays, banking cut-off times, incorrect account details, payment-provider delays, fraud review or compliance checks can extend payout timing.

Payout methods

Speedway supports payout methods suitable for each local market. In Indonesia, the default payout method is bank transfer to a verified account. Local payout methods may also be supported where available, approved and compliant.

Manual review payoutExceptions, high-risk cases, corrected details or compliance holdsManual verification and approvalUsed when normal payout cannot be released safely.

Cash payout is not the preferred standard method because it creates reconciliation, safety and fraud risk. Local exceptions may require written approval and extra controls.

Merchant settlement calculation

Merchant settlement starts from the merchant-side order value. The marketplace sales commission is 11% for food/services or 2.5% for non-food products including hardware. App access is then either pay as you go or prepaid monthly. Payment processing, tax, delivery, refunds, promotions, marketing, hardware and pass-through charges remain separate.

Statement lineExampleTreatment
Food order valueRp100,000Merchant-side gross order value before Speedway fees.
Restaurant Full Stack package16% / Rp16,000Deducted from merchant-side order value.
Delivery feeSeparate distance feeSeparate bucket; operator payout is calculated from this bucket only.
Customer platform feeSeparate customer charge where applicableNot part of merchant payout and not part of operator distance payout.
Payment processingPass-through or absorbedShown according to merchant agreement and payment method.
Refunds / adjustmentsAs approvedDeducted from current or future settlement where applicable.

For a Rp100,000 Restaurant Full Stack order, the indicative merchant-side Speedway fee is Rp16,000. The merchant settlement before other charges would therefore start from Rp84,000, subject to refunds, tax treatment, payment fees, marketing, pass-through items or agreement-specific rules.

Operator and driver payout calculation

Crews and drivers do not receive a percentage of merchant commission, software fees, platform fees, booking fees, sponsored marketing, standard handling fees or tax. Their payout is 92% of the eligible ride or delivery fare after permitted incurred job costs. Booking, service, platform, payment, tax, merchant commission, software, marketing, handling, loading and unrelated pass-through fee buckets are excluded.

Why a payout may be held or adjusted

Fraud protection is boring until it saves you money. Speedway may hold, reverse or adjust payouts where needed to protect customers, merchants, crews and the platform.

Statements and reconciliation

Speedway statements are intended to show the order value, merchant fee, software package fee, customer fees, delivery or trip bucket, operator payout, refunds, payment fees, marketing spend, tax and pass-through items as separate lines where applicable.
